King Kong Bundy was so fat he always looked like he would die young yet outlived a lot of his contemporaries.

Director John Singleton has passed away aged 51

Had a hit movie with his first one (Boyz 'n' the Hood - filmed in 1990), straight out of film school at the University of Southern California and followed that up with Poetic Justice (Tupac Shakur, Janet Jackson) and Higher Learning and others including 2 Fast 2 Furious and the remake of Shaft and also the 30 for 30 - Marion Jones, Press Pause.
Was planning to make a movie about Shakur and unfortunately that didn't happen and imho, it was obvious the eventual movie was going to get f%^$&! up once he wasn't getting the job to direct it.

Celebrity indeed. The last great PM. If any of today's pollies had half the talent and charisma of Hawkey then I wouldn't habitually draw dicks all over my ballot slips.

Didn’t like him at the time he was in power but my thoughts on him have mellowed over the years and do appreciate some of the work he did

Probably our most revered and beloved Prime Minister so sad he couldn't hang on long enough to see Labor get back in on Saturday night.

RIP Bobby

Whether a fan of his party or not, just seemed a great charismatic bloke. What we wouldn’t give for another like him.

Celebrity movie reviewer Bill Collins has passed away, aged 84.

When Mum and Dad Boon went out I'd stay at my Aunty Yvonne's place, recall many Saturday nights laying on the lounge in my pj's and dressing gown as Bill introduced another silver screen classic.
