RIP Malcolm Young, the rhythm guitar engine behind AC/DC, who passed away at age 64 after a battle with dementia.

Good riddance to bad rubbish and pure evil.

Anyone know why his death sentence was commuted to life?

Sad day. Our indoor cricket team, named the Partridge Famulee (paying homage to the Partridge Family) used to have a walk in/walk out song of the Family theme and "I Think I Love You". Anyone from the Masters games circa 2003-2006 will remember the Famulee rockin the courts to David's dulcet tones.

Bye Dave and thanks.

One for the nerds. The guy in the original Star Wars cantina scene who threateningly says to Luke "He doesn't like you...I don't like you either" (apparently the character's name is Dr Evazan, real name Alfie Curtis) has died aged 87.

The Cranberries were never my cup of tea, but yes, she had a marvellous set of pipes and they knew how to write a song. I wonder what the cause of death was, 46 is way too young - I'm guessing there's still nothing that's been confirmed in that department.
