I remember reading "A Brief History of Time" when I was younger, helped to kindle my interest in physics, so he is partly to thank for the physics and engineering degrees i have.

Just to blow my own trumpet for a sec - I did an electrical/electronic engineering and physics double degree at adelaide uni, graduating with first class honours in 2007.

Have also got a graduate diploma in signal and information processing too, studied for that part time whilst at work.

He was one of the comedians on the Wheeler Tappers and Shunters Social Club comedy / variety show, and had fame as the host of Bullseye. His catchphrases were ‘here’s what you could’ve won’ and ‘you get nothing for two in a bed’.

Sad news with the passing of R. Lee Ermey at age 74. He was best known for his role in Full Metal Jacket but I loved him as Sheriff Hoyt in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 remake and it's prequel.
