Passengers - Basically a love story in space, although there were a few other thought provoking elements. I'm a Chris Pratt fan as a rule, but thought he was pretty average in this. Worth a look, but not good enough for a re-visit imho.

Pretty weak after expecting big things due to Prometheus. Storyline poor, characters ordinary that you never feel any attachment to, aliens that look cheaper and less realistic now than they did 35+ years ago and missing the scope, elegance and philosophical wonderment of Prometheus.
Prometheus was ******* terrible IMO

Covenant seemed predictable

Baby Driver, heard it was good so gave it a go, only lasted 15 mins.
The first car chase scene was awesome but the rest of what we saw was like a choreographed wank dance.
Definitely one for the extrovert or one who enjoys over confident tossers. Cringey.

The Power Rangers movie.

I wasn't gonna watch this, but it was on the banner on Stan, so they peer pressured me into it.

The start is good, but I think it gets a bit drawn out, and they aren't even Power Rangers until the last half an hour....in a two hour movie.

Its drawn out so much that the conclusion seems rushed and nothing gets wrapped up.

I lasted through the whole thing, which says something. If I don't like a movie, I'll turn it off.

Watched Swinging Safari on the weekend, wasn't anything spectacular, sort of had two story lines within the one film, one was entertaining and one was ordinary. You'll soon work out which one is which.

Highlight though was the look back at the 70's in Australia, the props, costumes and sets were all excellent.

Saw it on a plane a few weeks back. I thought the highlight was the teenage boys waiting their turn on the staircase!

I went and saw Deadpool last night and really didn't think it was that good, left me disappointed to be honest. The plot wasn't that great. The first one is much better IMO, better action and alot funnier with better references. I felt like D2 was trying to hard.

Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom

This is the definition of "meh"!

The story's a bit shit. The actings a bit shit. The CGI and action scenes are pretty good. I was bored during at least the first half of the movie. Also, right at the start something happens that was laughable.

They send a submarine team into an ocean enclosure. Instead of just dropping the two man sub in, they open big gates that lead to the ocean. And then they can't get the gates closed. Ridiculous

Also, the brontosaurus is a whinger. Every scene he's in.....whinging.

I didn't mind it at all. Did you stay til the end of the credits?

No we didn't. The last thing I saw was what looked like a town in Arizona.

I found this funny though.

One Hour Photo was on the other night, missus and step-son hadn't seen it, very different role for Robin Williams.

Very misleading title... movie went much longer than an hour
