Saw the first one after everyone RAVED about it and thought:

"Settle down. Wasn't that great. It was okay."

Saw the last two after everyone SMASHED them and thought:

"Settle down. Weren't that bad. They were okay."

Gone Baby Gone

I like Casey Affleck, and the first hour or so of this movie was really good. But then the main story kind of comes to a conclusion and another one starts up. I ended up turning it off and going to bed.

Some Kind of Wonderful

Teen melodrama is one of John Hughes' less memorable 80s efforts...

Guardians Of The Galaxy

I was expecting better but it wasn't horrible but was starting to keep an eye on the time about 3/4 of the way through.

The missus was watching Noah last night, so even though I am not a fan of religion, I sat down and watched it with her.

She didn't appreciate the Transformer noises I was making when the big rock monsters were walking around, but then me telling her they got one of their Allsparks when one gets killed made her laugh, so I was in the clear.

I would have probably enjoyed it if it was just a straight out fantasy movie. But knowing that people believe that actually happened annoyed me, and then I fell asleep just as the rain came. *spoiler alert* It rains...a lot.

Great call! Just watched it on a flight to Perth. Not terrible, far from brilliant.

I watched it on the weekend as well, still not sure if it was good or bad or even if I enjoyed it or not so it fits perfectly in this forum.

A million ways to die in the west.

Quite funny in parts but if your not a Seth fan you won't like it.

The Transporter. I am not dumb enough to enjoy this beyond far fetched Batman like romp.

The Giver

The Purge: Anarchy

I liked the first one, and this one was ok. It just wasn't anything like the first one. More of an action movie than a thriller now.

The Other Women. Some good eye candy in the movie but otherwise you could take or leave this one. Cameron Diaz starting to look a little long in the tooth as well. Kate Upton is one of the hottest women on the planet and made it enjoyable enough.
