Yep no doubt our household will roll with it. Think you can get a free week intro.

Yeah you do

Do you mean in terms of performances, or their resemblance to the real people, Jimmy?

PS 'Backdoor,' he he.

I've started watching The Irishmen... What i've seen so far (about an hour in), i've really liked it... It's a Martin Scorsese film, with DeNiro and Pacinio in it...

Watched it last night (in 2 sessions, had a nap in between!)

I may have hyped it up too much myself. I still think Goodfellas is better

There is no way it needed to got for 3 1/2 hours imo

I just preferred the cast in the first series.
These two actually grew on me as I watched further - Backdoor more than Liz. Has Liz really got buck teeth?
I like Tobias Menzies as an actor (other than a certain episode of Outlander :butthead: :goodman:

Next series should be a ripper. I hope they include some Randy Andy history ;)

I watched it on the weekend (in two goes as well) - 3 1/2 hours is OK in 2 sessions. I enjoyed it.

I agree Goodfellows is better but this was more historical

And perhaps the Fergie toe-sucking scandal as well? ;)

Thought it went a tad too long.
Didnt live up to the hype.
Although still good.

I've started watching "The West Wing' on Stan (yeah, I know it's not Netflix), part based on having nothing else to watch, and part based on a mate's strong recommendation. I'm about halfway through the first season, I'm not sure what to make of it, and I certainly don't know why it was such a hyped show in it's time.

Anyone here got an opinion on it, one way or the other?

In the top three series I've ever watched. Sopranos & No 96 ;) are the other ones

As I understand it, there were always a couple of reasons to enjoy an episode of 'Number 96.'

I'm looking at getting Netflix access for the family. Does anyone have the premium package and do you find it value for money?

Interesting to hear. From what I've seen so far, it comes across a bit schmaltzy in places. I was hoping it would resemble something closer to 'House of Cards' in terms of political machinations and less like a melodrama about political staffers. That said, the writing is great, and the characters are mostly engaging. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is covered in syrup and sounds like a B-side from an episode of 'Murder She Wrote.'

Yes, me too (without the hashtag), although the second to last season fell away a bit, and I avoided the final one without Spacey.

Do you have 4 screens to watch at the same time?
I’ve never had the problem of >2 logins at any one time.
You can load it up to as many tvs, laptops etc & your phone but can only use it two at a time.
I wouldn’t do the premium unless you are expecting 3+ logins all the time

Definite value for money when you compare it to the tripe on FTA. I have 3 teenagers who regularly watch it as I do, I found with the 2 users I could never get to watch it. I'm more of a seasonal watcher, when footy is on I get Foxtel Go. Might give Kayo a go this season though, slightly cheaper than Fox.

Kayo is good
I’ve dumped Foxtel as I get all my favourite sports on it
