Just got smart TV all set up with 250GB download/month.
 What is Netflix like?
..will probably sign up for free month soon but wanna hit the ground running
. What is good to watch? What are the best series?
How much data does it use? Should I go the HD package or Non HD?
Any info appreciated

I dont reckon data will be an issue, I got two kids who use it a bit and dont run into any data probs. Stan is ok too, they both have good (and bad) shows. Have a look at the what are you watching now thread to see what people like to watch.
Just sign up to both for free and have a squiz around.
Narcos, Peaky Blinders, Ray Donovan are/were a couple of my favourites but I cant remember which one they are on. PS I dont watch a lot...

We've only just jumped onto the Netflix bandwagon (last weekend) and are currently in the 1 month free trial...
Have had a view issues running through the App on an Windows 10 laptop via a HDMI to the TV, but after farting around with the bit rates for a while have got it sorted.
We've been watching The Last Kingdom, and once we have finished that will be finishing off Sons of Anarchy...

Narcos is a must, two series, about 12 eps per series, I dare you to watch the first episode and not watch the second. Brilliant.
We've had Netflix for about 18 months, Mrs Lloyd likes several series but I'd imagine they're all soppy bullshit so I won't speak of them, in fact I don't even know what they're called!
I like it for the movie side.

				Love Netflix.
Some of the doco's are very good.
Then you get some great quality TV series' such as Narcos and House of Cards etc.
The big issue with some of these addictive shows is once you start, it's very hard to stop...

Some good ones already mentioned .. Add in Shameless, Bloodline, Weeds, Breaking Bad, Stranger Things.
For a good laugh Brooklyn 911, The Office, and if you're using the U.S. version New Girl.

If you like Sci-Fi, The Expanse is pretty good.
Rick & Morty for some adult animation.
Last Chance U is a really good sports doco series that follows a college american football team.
