This is the only article I've read on it and my first thought was this could be a play by Murdoch/Foxtel. There were talks a few years ago of them taking over Ten and running Sky News on the channel and with Foxtel losing customers hand over fist and facing extinction in the not too distant future that plan might be back on the agenda now given analysts are questioning why Ten would do this.

Channel Ten's time could be up, if the old Solomons carpet's clock is any indication. ;)

it's only 11.30, not 10 minutes to midnight.

Bruce Gordon is the largest shareholder in the company and, for most, the biggest media mogul you've never heard of. He and his son own WIN TV and from my experience never do anything without a plan - very canny and ruthless businessmen. They'd have something brewing. WIN executive Andrew Lancaster is also on the 10 board, which is interesting.

Does that mean I've still got time to 'pay much less, so very much less, for the very same carpet at Sol-o-mons'?

I find it hilarious how people get so offended by him.

Not offended at all.
I just find him a sanctimonious, belligerent prix so I don't watch it

Argumentative is probably closer
I saw him argue with Steve Price about something the other day.
It was not one particular point. He just tried to pick him apart and got nowhere but still came off it with that high almighty look on his face
