Crazy Chicken Nerd.

Usually see Abandoman every year too.

Might be busy for most of the fringe though.

THere's absolutely nothing that jumps out at me this year.

If I get the urge to go see anything, I Possibly may go and see Comedians against humanity again though, as it was brilliant last year

Fringe 2018

Postby Lightning McQueen » Fri Feb 16, 2018 3:07 pm

Feel free to add your recommendations or rotten tomatoes in here.

Taking the kids there tonight for the opening parade, should be fun and hopefully inexpensive.

No doubt we'll do the Garden next week or so to see the freaks and take a lucky dip in some of the cheap tents that can go either way.

Yeah, I've been assigned to the Escape Room.

We'll do a couple of runs in the Garden with the kids then dedicate a night or two to stay in the city and see a few shows without them.

Let us know your thoughts on them if you could please.

Saw Isaac Lomman twice this week (he also performed at my work show). Hilarious and an excellent show.

I saw one of the comedians from Hughesy, We Have a Problem, walking around the city today....had to google his name (Sam Simmons)....wondered why he'd be in Adelaide, then realised it was for the Fringe.

He also grew up here. When working at Triple J he would be often spotted wearing on camera an old WWT guernsey from about 1992.

Comedy Gala was good on opening night. Mick Malloy surprised me and was very good. Terrance Mooney was my fave though and have heard from others that he has been great in his own shows. Unfair Advantage was something different and i left shocked Saturday night at some of the card tricks and still trying to work out he did it all. I ended up dealing a straight flush in spades at the end for him and still can't work out how.
Haven't done the Escape Room, not sure if we will fit it in. Going in again on Sunday night for one more time this year, trying to work out what to see still. City was absolutely buzzing Sat night with rundle street closed off and absolutely packed with fringe and Clipsal patrons
