We're not naming the players because it's an open and possibly delicate investigation. Both clubs have been spoken to & are aware of the AFL's enquiries.

There was no complaint from the Swans player.

I can't speak on that but there was some inappropriate punching in the stands at the game as well
That footage is wild, the ladies were really getting in there. Looked like Karen's in the wild.

Also the security guard just standing there was very useful.

I presume the Brisbane player self reported otherwise it stumps me how it has gotten to the AFL considering the Sydney player hasn't complained?

I know I’m biased but fair dinkum, how does Laird get a week for that?

Newcombe gets off? Newcombes’ looks worse and knocked out Howe.

The "duty of care" argument about May was BS but if it applied to him then it applied to Newcombe
He had time to change from going for the ball to tackling Howe. Therefore he had time to consider his duty of care and avoid a head clash - same as May

As they said on SEN this morning; it's all over the place & being decided by dumb, dumber & dumbest

Except you're allowed to tackle and accidental head clashes are just that.
There isn't a caveat like with the bump where you're allowed to bump but only if you don't hit them in the head
Its not hard to work that out.
If Christian could've found a way to rub Newcombe out he would've. Perhaps he should've done you a favour and suspended Moore for the knee in the back the other week, you'd be a better team

The most careless/reckless act on the weekend was Sam Darcy's mark, what kind of conversation would we be having had his knee connected with Salem flush and knocked him out and broken his jaw in 18 places. You could just see the ass hats at AFL house saying that because he is 7ft tall he shouldve known that his knee would collect Salem in the head. We're probably only 5 years from that being outlawed
