I rate him highly.

From the press release: By recommitting now, the 24-year-old has officially bypassed Free Agency and the potential lures of league expansion with the introduction of the Tasmania Devils.

Lachlan Blakiston signs a 2 year extension until the end of 2028.

Right place, right time, I thought he was much batter than TDK last week. Good signing.

Zach Merrett has been brought back in Essendon’s leadership meetings - despite stepping down from a formal role at the start of the year.

Kyle Langford confirmed this morning that the Bombers are leaning on his experience after a 15th straight loss.

If any Essendon supporter decided to jump ship and support Tasmania I'd allow it.

My kids were talking in the family group chat about this very thing on Sunday, I told them to get family pricing.

Being a West supporter I can assure you with our poor seasons that the good times are even sweeter

2015 Premiership was as good as it gets

Stick with the Bombers

I'm getting tired of the AFL in general, my team is just adding to the misery.

Watched a couple of VFL games on the weekend, went to a local trial game, and loved every minute. I changed channels with 5 minutes to go in the first quarter on Sunday watching the Bombers...

There are two other AFL clubs that I like more than the one I barrack for, I've covered a few in my time.

Early 80's: North Melbourne as they had the same guernsey as my junior club.
Late 80's: Geelong, Blight is my football idol and Ablett wasn't too far behind him.
Mid 90's: Geelong still but had love for Adelaide being the SA team.
97: Aligned with Port as one of my best mates started playing for them but still had some love for Adelaide with Blighty at the helm.
99: Dropped off Adelaide once Blight departed.

Have had some love for Brisbane, Saints, Geelong and Freo over the journey.

I've been in that boat for the last couple of years now, I reckoned I watched 4 NRL games last weekend, and wouldn't have seen an entire AFL game combined from the bits and pieces of games I browsed over the weekend.

Up until the last couple of seasons, I've been a paid up, passionate Essendon member. I've never had a second team because I hated them all equally

Then my membership lapsed due to an expired credit card. The kids didn't really care if they were members or not, it gave them absolutely no benefits at all, unlike the good old days of members-only footy clinics, player meet and greets and decent goodies in your membership pack. They'll still go to games here and In Melbourne.

Me, I am rapidly disenfranchised with the AFL. Today's rumour about a twilight GF will be the cherry on the cake, I reckon.

Give me NRL or local footy, any day of the week!

Yep, I'm not really loving the brand and find that I have the footy on more than I sit down to watch it.

Twilight GF gives me the icks, it's perfect timing how it is whether you are hosting the day, going out to watch or there. Nice big lunch then get on the gas for the afternoon with a top up of food at half time to line the stomach for the remaining onslaught.

Dont support and never have supported any AFL team.

Rather go and watch grass roots footy

Cant remember the last time i watched a full game of AFL on the telly, usually a half and im done and dusted.

Never been to an AFL game live and never will
