Talk on the national game

Adrian Anderson

I must admit I have lost all confidence in this bloke, lets hope he does not end up running our great game one day.

I deal with Lawyers every day and Adrian obviously comes from a strong legal back ground, my concern with Adrian is that he views everything as either black or what, this is what lawyers do, he does not seem to understand concepts around the spirit of the game and what our great game is based on, this has all been eveident in his first attempt at the new tribunal system, and now the father-son law.......

Some of the flaws exposed have been quite laughable

Lets hope he is not empowered to run our great game one day as he may leave it in ruins

But AD needed a lap-dog. Thats what weak leaders always go for.

Very true, was always going to be impossible for him to appoint someone beneath him who knows more about the game and managing it than he does ...

The administration of the AFL is a dead set joke!! My suspicion as to why Bucky didnt get the gig was that his philosphies on the game differed from that of the AFL hierarchy - ie he may wanted to change key policies such as the draft and the general philosphy of propping up underperforming clubs.

We need someone to say they are doing a good job. Its only a debate when there are differing opinions.

Just ask Grant Thomas. Why do you think he has a rotational captaincy policy?

Plus the fact that two South Australians in a row would have been too much for them.

Remember when he was appointed as Demetriou's mini me, they rolled out all this stuff about all the law firms he had worked for and how many times over he was a millionaire and that was somehow suppose to prove how good of an administrator he would make.
