I am a huge wrap for Craigy but at times he takes too long to make changes, he obviously has huge trust and respect for his players but at times as a coach you need to create a spark, side will come to AAMI to create a slow slog of a game, at times the Pies had 16 players behind the footy....

and 90% of the time the crows had 18 players behind the footy...when are people going to acknowledge that the Crows flood as much if not more than anyone in the business!!!!!????

When they lose games this will gain far more exposure.

I think I probably would...purely for experience if nothing else. It would be a risk with his hammy for sure but a risk worth taking IMHO.

ID HAVE to agree with MAL the crows flood as much as most other teams out there.

they get numbers behind the ball and when they get it from defense they all charge forward and run in straight lines and not running into each others space. when the space is there to run into they are good but when teams fill those gaps they struggle.

The crows are using a zone flood and using it well !!!

Other teams combating it are using what some may say as the dreaded flood to combat it against it every single player in front of the ball !!!

Saturday night Collingwood had every one behind the centre square - at no stage did the crows go to that extreme !!!

the crows flood has evolved from the ugly floods of every friggin player behind the ball.

the crows flood to a certain extent and once possesion has been gained everyone takes off in a forward movement creating the running game across half back.

The last AFL game I went to was Crows v Hawks and me and my old man sat in the back row of the top section in the Northern Stand and we could see everything all the Structures of both the Hawks and Crows the best view of an AFL footy game ive ever seen.

i lost count of how many times the Crows had no one inside forward 50 when the ball was in the defensive 50 but by the time the ball got to centre wing/ half forward there were players inside 50 without the ball carrier needing to stop an prop to look for an option

It works against every side except West Coast.

Difference is when other sides flood they push 15 players back in the defensive 50m arc

when the crows flood it's almost soccer or hockey style, they set up zones similar to the kick out zones, so if the opposition do not execute correctly and a turn over occurs they can charge forward in waves, there run is staggered.......

can be argued that either way its flooding but the Crows definitely do it different to other clubs
