I think the Adelaide Medical staff timed it perfectly, lets not get too carried away with the Crows lost, the facts are the Crows will still finish minor premiers, the facts are the crows only have one more away game at the MCG and with only a handful of rounds remaining the crows are still one game and percentage on top.....
Personally given the crows situation a loss this time of the year may do more good then people think, Craigy now has some amo to keep THE BOYS focus not to mention it puts pressure on spots
I am not too concerned

....Mcleod has conceded he can no longer play without surgery to

killing injections. He is expected to see a surgeon on Monday and
miss as many as three matches................................................

We have had some debates on this site about medical incompetence
at the St. Kilda and Western Bulldogs football clubs.
Both clubs allowed a player each this year to play on with suspect knees
during matches this year and it has been well documented that these
players are out for the season, the critiscm in my view justified.
However the handling of Andrew Mcleod's well known foot injury needs
to be scrutinised now by the same critics in the right context.
This was an injury that was first exposed at about the split round round
12 in mid-June, as to whether Mcleod should rest, play or have surgery.
With Mcleod being a valuable commodity to the Crows finals aspirations,
surgery should have been done at that stage.
Now Mcleod will miss huge games v WC + CO in the next 2 weeks and will
be out until possibly round 20.
Should Mcleod have had surgery earlier ?
Did the Medicos get it wrong at the club?
I think they got it wrong, imagine if there is a complication and Mcleod is
out for 5-6 weeks making him unavailable until the finals .
Im sure if this was SK the Safooy experts wOuld be dining on this one.
What do the experts think ?
