This is what I heard but I am not a medical authority so my following
comments may be out of context or not right :

You can get it by picking up dog shit.
Dogs get it a fair bit and need about 3 immunisations as pups as a rule.
I might be corrected bet i think there is no vaccine for people.
Could last 2 weeks to a few months.
Washing hands is a neccesity.
It can be contagious and has an incubation period of nearly a week.

The term Pavo is latin for small, yes the pavo virus effects dogs but pavo B19 is a small DNA virus that only effects humans, the virus can be spread same as the comon cold, hand to mouth contact or blood to blood contact, children and pregnant women are all high risk group, while approx 50% of adults can attract this viral infection.

Currently there is no vaccine, rest is the best medicine, recovery can be quick as 2 weeks or up to 4 months......

I think we will see Roo back during the finals

Ta for that S-Dog, helps explain the nature of the condition. Here's hoping the Roo has a quick recovery
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
