Intensity has been good. Tight contest obviously contributing to skill errors.

No excuse for all the shanks and basic skill errors. Dogs massively overrated, don't think they are any better than last year

Jesus Jim they have lost to hawthorn by 3 points and the ladder leaders north by 16 and there overrated. I think your being a bit harsh, they have lost their 3 best running defenders as well. They deserve a ton of credit for the effort they give, not many teams lose 3 quality players and stay competitive.

Nah I'm good, was just expecting a better game. It's like the ball was flat out there at times, some of the shanks were horrendous and the skill errors were terrible. Was only the closeness of the score that kept me watching.
North deserved the win, just had that bit of polish when required

Played a depleted Hawks side at a venue they don't like, would of been 10 goals plus at the MCG. If they can't beat them at Etihad they are no show elsewhere. Lost tonight to a North side are going well but still unsure of where they are at due to a fairly soft opening draw. Dogs won't make top 4 and will struggle to win more than 1 final

So Petrie plays his 300th next week.
Now before you go off Spargo and im not trying to disrespect Drew as playing 300 games is a massive achievement and you need to be talented to do it, BUT if there is a worse player to play 300 games iv not seen it.
Any nominations of the top of the head that would compete for that title?

Over 47k, what a great crowd. A bit embarrassing when we can't get that many to Port v Geelong at the best stadium in the world in the only game here on a weekend!
Full marks to both sides! Highest crowd at Etihad in 3 years!
Great win Kangas!

It would be great if the swans bookended the Hawks 3peat

Their whole game is based on back line running. No JJ, Suckling or Bob. Pretty big outs to thier structure.
