Now you're typing.

Watts: 19 games.
Disp: 14.1
Marks: 4.5
Gls: 0.9
Tackles: 2.7.

That's his season aggregate isn't it? :P

2.7 tackles astounded me, I remember sportsbet taking the piss a couple of years ago offering $4 if he could get 4 marks and 4 tackles for the game, it took until about the 27th minute mark of the 4th to get the 4th tackle but he got there.

Who would you have at CHF then?

Jack Watts

I knew when I hit submit you'd have nothing constructive to add.

You say Franklin didn't deserve to be in there, who are you replacing him with?

Who do you reckon? There is a bloke who ended up higher in the Coleman than him who plays quite a bit of CHF who didn't make it but that would just be me being salty though. He also isn't kissed on the dick by the umps each week either and has to work harder than any forward in the comp for his possessions but that's my opinion.

Hooray!

You're allowed an opinion, I like it and you've got some merit to back it up and it's a reasonable debate.

I'd argue that Reiwoldt plays up the ground as much as Franklin does and more than Hawkins.

In the real world it probably would be Hawkins at FF and Reiwoldt at CHF in the "team of the year" but the Coleman Medalist must be at FF in this exercise so Franklin, who probably plays up the ground more than Hawkins goes to CHF.

You're opinion, view, isn't without merit.

Riewoldt could've gone to a pocket with Hawkins at FF and Gunston to the bench.

Or they could’ve named Brown as he’s the only one who essentially plays full forward.

I’m not really fussed. Take out that one game against the Suns where Riewoldt kicked 10 & Brown gets in.
One look at some of the selectors - Ling, Tredrea, Darcy, Richardson, Jackovich, is enough for me.
Great footballers but none of them come across at all semi-intelligent.

Yeah, you'll probably get a better Brown next season because of it too.

Not necessarily, Riewoldt was also knocked out early in the first quarter from Carlisle one week. Same can be said for Brown having to play in that flood in round 1. All ifs & buts but it evens out over a year. Brown was certainly unlucky that's for sure. You knew he had missed out when Scott said over the weekend he's still an All Australian in my mind which was a subtle dig at selectors I picked up.

I actually think the selectors did a pretty good job. Wouldn't have had Dangerfield in the 18, maybe the bench. Yeo and Devon Smith the most unlucky I reckon, both would've added a bit of flexibility the bench that Dangerfield doesn't. I see Richmond every week and Grimes has had an outstanding year as medium/small lock-down defender, reckon he would've come pretty close to Stewart's spot but maybe not good enough with ball in hand to overtake him. How Coniglio didn't make the 40 still astounds me.

If they are tossing up between two players they will always go the ones that are playing finals too

On the telecast last night it was stated the last spot debated was Stewart/Jonas in the back pocket.

Why not? Had the best GPG record of any elite forward.

He came 4th in the Coleman. Didn't deserve to be there. End of story

He literally beats two out of the 3 blokes above him in very single other stat...

Hawkins being the exception... ahhh there it is, your salty Hawkins missed out

Still Salty from 10 years ago and yes that is with a capital S
