Hopefully that excludes her from all commentary roles.

Nope. She'll continue to threaten mens masculinity with Channel 7

It has nothing to do with her gender or fivehead, I genuinely switch off when having to listen to her commentate, I’m a huge supporter of women’s football and my manhood isn’t intimidated by my support.
Having said that, I dislike listening to Brian Taylor and Dermie equally as much.

Yes she is a pioneer for the sport, but GOAT? Besides the obvious Phillips, there would be a dozen current players that are already better than she ever was.

If you had said the same comment about BT, we'd all be agreeing with you.

As for bringing her appearance into it, doesn't help when you're arguing that it's her commentary that is below par.

And on the other hand, I wonder how many like Abbey Holmes commentary because she is good on the eye?

The Bedge wrote:For me, a good commentator is someone who just calls the game - throws in the odd stat or trend, senses changes in momentum or big occasions and doesn't try to go over the top.
BT, Slater, Warne - struggled to listen to these blokes coz it's mostly was/is just waft..

Once again, it doesn’t bother me how you’ve perceived it, I wasn’t arguing a point, I was giving my opinion.
I find her commentating boring, I find her voice mundane and I’ve always found there’s a bit of me,me,me about her.
As Bedge highlighted, there are some terrific female commentators covering male sports, a lot that are more listenable than their male counterparts.
