Yeah I can understand where your coming from. You have had a complete upheaval at the club and a massive change in list. As you said you have seen some good young players out there getting games and will add to the young list at the next draft with a good draft hand.

Who's your pick with your first? Surely you are bidding on Daicos and maybe Darcy?
Then maybe look at getting Horne in to the midfield?

I'm biased as I've been watching Horne play since he was 7, if we get the option we must take him.

We are OK for Rucks

Steve Hocking to replace Brian Cook as Geelong CEO from December. Who gets the Football Operations Manager job at HQ?

Andrew Dillon for the remainder of the 2021 season according to the AFL.com.au article.

If SHocking runs the Cats as good as he did the rules committee the Cats will be stuffed in 2 years.
Absolutely woeful operator

Depends on what Clarko wants to do...Malthouse was clearly pushed I doubt Clarko would have been.
I think Mitchell is going to be an outstanding coach BTW

Umm, so it should but it also shouldn't in any way be linked to the Hawks discussion.

Why?
If Clarko put his hand up to coach elsewhere then Teague would be out the door this afternoon

I’m not keen on another coach as Teague has done ok BUT if Clarko was keen to coach us I’d jump at it.

Cos he's been in the chair for less than 45 games. Flicking coaches makes no sense AND we've been down this path before and it worked really well for us last time (Malthouse).

FFS, If we jettison another coach out before he has a chance to prove himself, I'll spew.

Clarkson could pick a number, any number, a rather large number and take over from Stewie Dew in 2023. AFL would pay anything to get him up there, reunite with Mark Evans and turn the GC around. I think its the sort of job that would appeal to Clarko.

He could take the coin and be the next Barassi. They couldn't get worse and players would be more likely to stay if Clarko goes up there. If they keep losing blokes they might as well shut the door.

Gold Coast are closer to a premiership than Hawthorn, so that may be an attraction as well.
