If he leaves we find a replacement. Simple. We did it with Lever (Doodae) and I think Fogarty can replace him if needed.

Needs to build his engine but yeah you would say he could be a replacement. Honestly I think he'll end up staying. He looks like a good player in the crows system. Just like Lever. He would get found out playing as a 1st or 2nd tall without other big bodies around him.

Exactly. The why we play suits him to a tee. If he leaves the club he goes too might not be a accommodating depending on what they have

The Crows cap must be restricting them here though, Betts, Jenkins, Walker, Sloane, Crouch x 2, Jacobs, Gibbs, Talia would all be on well above average coin....next level down you have McKay, Smith, Atkins, Laird, Seedsman all above average.

If he read the papers when the Jenkins deal got signed and then asks his manager what his offer is he's got every right to hold out for more.

I'd have Lynch before Jenkins every day of the week.

I’d take Lynch too however at the time JJ was on an upward spiral but had certainly stalled or even taken a step backwards

I'd say it's more the role they play.

You could put an alpaca in the Jenkins role and it would kick goals.

Maybe you guys should try an alpaca in the Dixon role?

Bit rough on your blokes, thinking an alpaca could contribute to a Showdown win.

He didn’t contribute much though Booney, 11 disposals and no scores

He contributed plenty, he kept Talia away from the hot spot allowing Gray to be isolated on Brown and kick 5 in a quarter and 6 for the match. Wingard did much the same with Laird.

You know how coaches bangs on about playing a role in a system?

Sloane was initially listed as missing 2 weeks now 2 weeks later it’s being listed as another 4 weeks.
Can’t be good news when you are pushing for a large contract

Any contract from Victoria would have dropped from an 8-900k+ to 7-800k+ I'd imagine.

The injury has ended players careers, whilst he's as tough as nails turning 29 with something as nasty as this must be causing alarm bells for some clubs over there.

Watching the game I didn’t think he was overly important for a key forward

Does that mean every time Betts has a decent day that JJ is the cause? Perhaps it was just because Gray had a great quarter

Talia kills contests better than any Adelaide defender. Laird intercepts, Brown nullifies, Doedee makes the +1, Talia just kills the contest.

By keeping Talia and Laird away from Gray 1 out on Brown none of them are in their natural habitat.

When Betts goes well it's JJ's work? Perhaps, whereas Dixon had Adelaide's best "killer" ( Talia ), Jenkins would often get the oppositions Doedee, the +1.

Walker gets a man, Betts gets a man, Lynch gets two, one high and one deep, Jenkins often gets the drop off, perhaps why he's the goose out the back so often.

Having said all that Hinkley and Dixon have admitted he's not in great form at the moment. 6-3 though so that's a good thing.

Dixon spent 5 weeks rucking. If Jenkins spent 5 weeks rucking he still wouldn't need a shower.
