He has been suspended for 12 months pending appeal. If the charge stays he would lose the salary for the 12 months he is suspended.
When the suspension is over he is still entitled to the remaining 2 years pay whether he plays again or not.
Baseball is more drug riddled than cycling, another dozen guys done last week and probably another 20-30 will be caught before seasons end

Not defending him, im a Yankees fan and we are stuck paying him for the next 3 years. He probably wont ever play again so the club will be paying him $20m+ a year to sit at home on his arse.

Sounds like the saga has taken a new twist with ASADA today saying that they have reported someone from the AFL to the ACC for breaching the confidentiality code.
The ACC are expected to be following this up shortly.
Can carry a 2 year jail sentence
