Wonder what Richo, Harley and BT would think if Watson got the same treatment as A-Rod.

This wont be resolved for a very long time unless one of the sides cave in.
I was hoping for it be over before finals but barring a miracle that aint happening now

Yep come back next year and we'll do it all again, i'm more than happy for them to have points taken away next year, they arn't doing anything this year anyway.
It's just stupidity and ignorance from Hird. Or is it arrogance?

Agreed. Thought they wanted the 'real' story to come out. Why the bombers trying so hard to suppress it??

He will have the last laugh.
Still has 3 years of his $100m contract left.
He has been suspended for 12 months pending appeal. If the charge stays he would lose the salary for the 12 months he is suspended.
When the suspension is over he is still entitled to the remaining 2 years pay whether he plays again or not.

Hird may need every cent of that money plus many more after this whole saga pans out.

Blind Freddy can see that the players have changed their tune since "The Weapon" interview and to the the majority shows that there is very bad news on the horizon which the players are familiar with, but the media are being held silent in some concept as it is still a legal matter.

If anyone has not watch offsiders on Sunday. Essendon issues were discussed and signs of player infraction notices are not that far away.

Not defending him, im a Yankees fan and we are stuck paying him for the next 3 years. He probably wont ever play again so the club will be paying him $20m+ a year to sit at home on his arse.

Far from it.
Loved it when he came to us and he has been great for us.
Unfortunately most have known he has been on the gear for awhile but he was locked into a long term contract and we cant get rid of him.
Baseball is more corrupt than cycling.
A lot of records achieved over the years has been done with the aid of steroids.
Will take years to flush them all out

Sounds like the saga has taken a new twist with ASADA today saying that they have reported someone from the AFL to the ACC for breaching the confidentiality code.
The ACC are expected to be following this up shortly.
