Where is Adam Cooney?

Only number 1 pick to have won a Brownlow.

Righto.

If the conversation is around number 1 picks that turned out to be very good players then he shouldn't be ignored just because he is retired.

Reckon that’s pretty close.
Hodge, Murphy & Gibbs.

Whitfield is an absolute gun, overshadowed by Kelly but he has easily made it.

I'd be taking Deledio's career any day with a number one pick. Also Scully before injury had been tracking very well the last couple years.

B Deledio 2x B&F & 2x AA --- B Gibbs 1x B&F 0xAA

Gibbs is a far better player than Deledio IMO.

I probably agree Gibbs is a slightly better player also but was more a point to say if you had Deledio's career from your pick one you would take it in a heartbeat.

He won it last year as well.
It mightn’t include that one.

I think you are right mate.
It was Murphy’s 2nd B&F not Gibbs.

I won an under 9 and under 10 B&F at Smithfield, probably on par.

I'd say Deledio is the better player when fit and firing, but Gibbs has been far more durable.

I'd be taking Deledio over Gibbs at their peak though.

At that age at Smithfield you would have celebrated with a VB can and a durrie surely?
