Craig David who? Surely not. Massive step backwards if they did.
What's Harvey doing?

Jury still out on Harvey for me, took over a rabble of a Fremantle side and got them into a finals spot before having a horror injury run the following season. He is a good assistant though

Too much of a Primus from what I've heard, needs to separate himself from he group and be a coach not a mate.
Perhaps he's learnt from it.

I think everyone at the club knew today was coming. Carlisle had his mind made up months ago. Just hope we get something for him. Dont like to lose players but the $ he is demanding im kind of glad he is going.

Seems we have now upset the Crows. Paul Little, Jobe, Heppell and some other board members flew to Adelaide in Little's private jet to meet Worsfold and discuss his plans for next season. I know its in season but football is a big business and we cant afford to sit on our hands. The worst he can say is that he isnt interested. Personally I think he will stay at the Crows

Meh I got no real issue with it for a head coach, if it was a player it would be different

Actually I think this move was expected. Even the Muppets on MMM were discussing it saying that it was likely Essendon would be talking to him whilst the crows season was still live.

Whilst people like Jars said they didnt like it they all conceded that football is a business and essendon need to be moving asap.

Really besides the typical hype around it by the Adelaide media, I cant see it having much of an impact om anyone.

Who cares. Every year people from clubs are talking to players, coaches, assistant coaches, admin staff from other clubs to see if they would move jobs. You think Treloar and Collingwood haven't spoken until after the Giants last game? Or that Carlisle, Kruezer, Dangerfield, Schulz, Aish et al haven't had conversations with other clubs about what they can offer. Please, storm in a tea cup this is.

Not overly fussed with the whole thing, could it have waited a week or two? Probs yes as i doubt he will give an indication till after the season has finished and as stated above clubs are pinching assistants all the time from finals teams.

I would be very suprised if John does take the Dons job as i don't think he will be keen for a 3 - 5 year rebuild and everything else that goes with being Dons coach at the present. If he is involved in football next year i do expect it will be with the Crows in what ever capacity he would like.

I think that's one of those smart ass apologies when you have achieved what you wanted to already so your just apologising because you cant be bothered with the hassle of listening to the drama if you don't.

Was re-selling my Crichton tickets back to the club as I cant attend this year and the bloke im selling them to is in one of our coteries. Mentioned that Worsfold has been offered 5 years at around a mill a year. Would look at bringing in McKenna and Pyke as assistants on decent $$ aswell.
He also indicated the Crows have a 5 year offer also but for a bit less cash. The feeling at the club internally is he will stay in Adelaide so they will improve their offer once the Crows season ends

The panel that was appointed has made up the shortlist. Neale Daniher announced that publicly last week.
Not in any order but the list is
Worsfold
Dew
Sumich
Burns
Lloyd
The coteries would be in the know because they are probably the ones footing some of the bill. They also pull a few strings.
