Hey guys can't you see it?..............Saint Kilda recently and many others flirting with form!
Listen to the coach, they have been doing it and he doesn't know how?
They are sending players on to miss TEAM training "We will do this easy"
Can they switch it back on?
Yes, they now have some easy games, but the last run to the finals will really show if they can compete.
I reckon too old too slow and no plan B! If a team has the pressure to force a change.
( admitting there are only 3 teams that can do that.)

Bwahaha BigFooty poster! There was a change in game plan during the game against West Coast and our best players on Friday were the older players not the young fellas. Also during our two losses no Milburn and no Mooney.

Sit in the corner Alaska!

If the cats are porridge ill gladly line up for another bowl thanks.
Almost a monty for GF still. They would of beat the Eagles by 10 goal if it was in Melbourne. Gutsy effort to come from so far down in west.

The comment I made saturday about too old too slow was more in jest, as that was levelled at us at the start of the year...

Menzel (19), Duncan (20), Vardy (20), Christensen (20), Brown (20) have all impressed this season.

Couple that with Selwood (23), Taylor (25), Varcoe (23), Bartel (27), Stokes (26), and there's plenty of younger blood around.

Think Milburn and Mooney may be the only two to sign off at season's end.

Dynasty continues.

Lost by 8 points to West Coast at home who are at the peak of their performance. The 30 odd minutes at the end of the first quarter and the start of the second quarter was the absolute optimum west coast have to offer I reakon.

Lets just see where the Coasters are in 6 weeks before we get carried away with Geelong's 'demise'.

PS Piss weak effort by Ottens behind the play. Deserves a break for that one.

Any thoughts on where he's at?

Pods is gunning it. One of the best contested marks inside 50 but jeez he's missing some shots at goal! His big problem at the moment is that Vardy isn't quite up to being the other tall forward. We need to get Hawkins out of the Magoos but out of the ruck and stationed up front because he is a strong lead up forward that takes the pressure of the J-Pod.

3 weeks for Otto. Not a good n ight for him. He's not mobile enough to go up against Cox and Nick Nat on the open spaces of Subi. He gave away a zillion frees and that cheap shot was a sign of his frustration. He's not normally like that the big fella so it's a holiday for him.

Nearly as stupid as Selwood's effort which has cost us at least one game. This time just cop it sweet ay Geelong!

Seen on a footy show last week that no player at Geelong has played every game this year, been an interesting move that i believe will pay dividends for the future, resting players and giving some others game time in the AFL.

Sorry cracker. I heard he got three without the plea, not with it. FWIW I reckon he's gotten off pretty lightly. The ball was miles away.

Thanks REB. He looked very slow to me on Friday night and you guys certainly don't want to see him dragged away from the goalfront. But you make some interesting points in his favour. Cheers.

As for Ottens, silly boy. But unlike him.

No Pace is not his strong suit but not many players of his type are quick. He is an excellent contested mark but at the moment and ordinary shot at goal. He just needs support and I reckon Hawkins will be given a crack in Otto's absence.

Ottens brain fade was very much out of frustration BUT i dont think it will be that bad for him either, freshen up, get the body right and have a real crack at it for the remainder of the season.

He just got outplayed against cox and nat who arent the typical ruckmen
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

Nice to have Joel Selwood back this week because we've been rubbish at the clearances in the last few games. When we had no Selwood and no Corey against Essendon it was especially bad. Hopefully Bartel can ark it up a bit too against what is a fairly ordinary midfield for the Lions.

It's time for Hawkins or Mooney to put their hand up to help Pods as young Vardy has struggled since he came back into the side. Vardy has done very well but he's a bit green to be playing in a key position against the Pies, Blues, Hawks or Eagles in Septmber.

The porridge is going back on the oven and hopefully the fur balls have been cleared.
