Free kick count 17-16. Yep of course they were cheating.

Come on wristy, it's not how many you get - it's where & when you get them. More importantly it's the "non decisions" which blatantly favoured port in the second half, which coincided with them getting back in the game & nearly stealing it at the end.

Yep fair enough. But there is a lot of uproar about Monfries but they don't pay that (which I admit is wrong) anymore. I have been crook all weekend so I have seen 4 games and this week the circling umpire pinging the bloke at the bottom seems to have mysteriously vanished (which is good)
They are confusing, hard to follow and inconsistent but I don't think they go out of there way ever to cheat.

Except for the Crows last week ;)

Worst decision to gift Mitchell the goal at the end!!! Well non decision! Port were kissed on the d*** tonight and couldn't capitalise

Its when and where they are paid/not paid.
The umpiring was shocking all night but stuff they let go in the first half started getting paid in the last quarter. That non free against Monfries was deadset cheating

The deadset cheating was when the umpire changed his decision from a throw in to a free kick to dempsey, only after dempsey had a cry to him. Not only that but dempsey turned his back on the ball and crashed into shulz. Or you could include the 2 times Essendon kicked out and clearly steeped over the line.

You're onto something there kickinit, I did see Essendon overstep at least twice tonight very clearly. One in the last quarter had half the foot over the line and the umpire was looking straight at it. Of course the commentators didnt pick it up because they are too busy trying to be funny and dont actually watch the game

HT

Stk 7.5
Carl 10.2

Better 15-20 minutes to finish the half. Ken McGregor medallist nominee Trent Dennis-Lane missing a simple one on half time which would have been very handy.

Only switched on at halftime, but wont be watching for long, shocking game of footy. Blues getting plenty of favours with the umps, although they're generally first to the ball so goes with the territory I guess.

Levi Casboult has always been able to take a grab but lately his kicking has improved. One of the few positives this season for the Bliebaggers.
