Well this whole saga is getting more ridiculous by the minute

Apparently Essendon are the only ones that think they have done nothing wrong

I agree heater!
The texts and emails are enough evidence to throw the book at them...along with a heap of circumstantial evidence.

HTF can they say they've done nothing wrong?

Ive just listened to the interview twice and there is no way its a hoax.
Sounds a little scripted but I reckon its legit.
Obviously the age of the player is fake, got a fair idea who the player may be.

In some fairness Little admitted in his presser that they had done things wrong and should be penalised just not to the extent the AFL want.

Is it up to them to decide what their penalty is?
In between signatures .....

They have never said they have done nothing wrong.
I think we are guilty of 10-20% of those charges but some of the charges are alarming.
Those 10-20% of charges is enough to sink us

Dont want to name him, dont think its fair.
Definately some infighting at the club currently, wouldnt be surprised if there was a board spill soon.
Plenty of good people at the club who just want the club to cop its whack and move on

I just read somewhere one of the player managers wants the AFL to facilitate a move of any players that want out of there.
I totally agree, perhaps they could all be treated as unrestricted free agents. How ever i don't think EFC should get any compensation for losing players and they certainly should be banned from trading any of these players as well.
Make them start again with a bunch of fresh draftees and anybody who wants to stay there.

Jackson was a blundering twat. Vlad has to go too.
In regards to the saga I'd be happy if the outcome was hird gets a life ban. What an egotistical wanker. Always has been arrogant and never rated him. The club would be better without him. If they stand by him prepare to suffer the consequences. President little does them no favours either.
Memo to essendon. Do not oust someone who is trying to negotiate on your behalf for the betterment of the club. Evans was that person. Gone so now you can cop your slaying.

And that statement sums up your football knowledge. He is an arrogant Karmichael Hunt but he was a brilliant footballer.

Why do people have trouble differentiating between great people and great footballers? They aren't mutually exclusive. Why the shock when a gun footballer turns out to be an arrogant person? Carey, Roo, Hird, Buckley would all be described as arrogant yet they were great players.

Put someone on a pedestal and the only thing they can do is fall.

And there lies your lack of comprehension. Ill spell it out in simpleton terms for you to comprehend. I never said I didn't rate him as a player. I merely said I've never rated him. I've always said and believed he was a self centered and arrogant person. Read what I say. Not what you want to hear....

My lack of comprehension?

Reading what you say.

Fact is you stated you never rated him. I can only read what you have written and you have written that you never rated him. In my eyes, and I can only speak for myself but assume others would agree, that reads that you have never rated him in any facet. Is the reader supposed to make assumptions about what you have written by interpreting what you haven't written?

Before Hird was a coach he was a player, if you have never rated him then your statement means that you never rated him as a player.

How stupid of the club to come out and say they rang the families of suspected people to see who it was. Maybe ring these people before and explain the situation so they don't have to ring a radio station and vent. Then again you can't tell a family what's going on when you don't know yourself what they had been injected with.

How could you as an employee have any faith in your employer after being put thru this...
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Still chat to some good people that are involved with the club
Being a member for close to 30 years and attending a lot of games and functions you get to meet some really great people behind the scenes
Unfortunately only get over to games maybe 4-5 times a year nowadays

You're right about one thing you are making assumptions. It's your problem if you interpret it that way but do not tell me that is what I meant. Im telling you right now that is not what i meant. Perhaps what you need to do for future reference is to think before commit to posting pusillanimous statements, knowing the history in other threads your vexatious nature and your apocryphal posts. The sentence is question mentions his arrogance not his playing ability. Next time ill be sure to use one syllable words so you can interpret it correctly and ill add synonyms just so you don't lose the thread of what I'm saying and can consolidate the meaning.
