His response was cringeworthy & disgraceful. He still doesn’t get it.
This is the club’s director of football…

I'm listening to SEN now.
I haven't heard Roo response but figured it was disgraceful.
Edmund is reading a chapter from the book and it's ******* horrifying.

Caroline Wilson was spot on yet again!

Those Crows supporters that bagged her should be ringing Roweys show tonight to apologise

If Roo wont, then what hope the rest of them. Disgrace!

Much of what the SA based media called out as bullshit as reported from the Vic media has been verified from a first hand account, little surprise Rowe leads the line up to get egg wiped off his face.

McLure and Wilson, among others, should be getting some phone calls from some SA media personalities in the next 24 hours.

It's a very poor reflection on the SA-based media when the Victorian hacks come across as professionals.

Basically confirms the local lot are a protection racket for the Crows, not that that comes as a surprise to many of us.

Good to see Roo reading from the same script he had since the camp.

Speaking on his Triple M Adelaide breakfast radio program on Wednesday morning, Ricciuto said it was “sad” to read Betts’ recollection as he’s been “one of the greats at the football club”, adding few players have ever thrilled Crows fans more than Betts.

“Player welfare is always No. 1, no matter what’s going on,” Ricciuto told Triple M Adelaide. “You always want everyone to be happy and all that, so it’s very sad that Eddie has written that.

“I think the club’s been on record at times to say that they acknowledged that it wasn’t handled perfectly and had all good intentions, but it didn’t go perfectly.

“We all love Eddie and hopefully Eddie’s getting over that. That was four years ago, certainly the club’s moved on from that and looking towards the future and made a lot of ground since back then.

“Yep, it’s come up in Eddie’s book and that’s fair enough. As I said, hopefully Eddie is moving on as well and the club can move on to bigger and better things.”

Will be interesting to know what Safework SA version of events are from the camp and whether that aligned with Eddie Betts version.

If Betts version is the correct one I just can understand how Safework SA found no case to be answered. I kind of can understand as Safework are a cluster ****.

I'm not sure the SA based media have ever really been anything but sycophantic to the Crows since day 1. SA is too small, too inbred in some respects, and the Crows are the biggest sporting organization in the state. That's the way it works.
They aren't many journo's left anyway who are old fashioned enough to want to do the work to uncover stories. Clickbait rubbish is taking over.

:(

Betts, who makes the explosive revelations in his book The Boy from Boomerang Crescent, writes “some dickhead” was on his back and “said that I’d be ‘a shit father as I was raised only by a mother”.

Cant help but giggle when you see the outrage and comments from Crows fans about this and the whole "getting over it" or "leaving the past in the past" - they're literally all 50+ old people.

Prob the same people who declare Goodes deserved to be booed "coz he's a flog".

Prob also claim the game has gone soft with no punch ups, and women belong in the kitchen making sandwiches.

Silvers I understand is a pretty decent bloke and a genuine person. But he would've known when he was appointed to the role this was set to rear it's ugly head at some stage.
The whole mentality of the club has to change. This is his and Olsen's biggest challenge, moreso than finding a new home, or developing new income streams.
