No
If this was true we would of been served infraction notices by now
Dank brought banned drugs but ASADA cant work out where they went.
Without Danks testimony that he gave the drugs to players nothing can be proved.
The investigation is still on going though and we could be found guilty in a years time

The fact that no-one really knows what they were injected with has shown me that James is not a fit and proper person to manage a footy squad...along with Corcoran. Life bans for those two and club cops draft pick exemptions.

LETS MAKE A DOPE DEAL!

No, not Cheech and Chong , but Vlad and Tirdy smooching behind the bikesheds to save their collective arses. What a shambles.

The Bombers better get their Flak Jackets on I think they are going to need them after that article!!!!

The AFL must go very very very heavy on the Bombers.

They are in total denial of what they have done.

As I said before this should be the penalities

$3 MILLION FINE

LOSS OF 2013 POINTS

REID - RETIRE

THOMPSON 1 YEAR BAN

ROBINSON - LIFE

DANK - LIFE

CORCORAN - LIFE

HIRD - LIFE

LOSS OF DRAFT PICKS 3 YEARS

NO TRADING FOR DRAFT PICKS
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Sarah made many great points, the best being would Hird have injected his own kids with all this stuff.

Hird is trying to do a 'Eugene McGee' and get off on technicalities, which means he shows no remorse and should be banned for life in disgrace.

If you read his Supreme Court writ, it starts off by stating he is a champion of the game and lists his football achievements to somehow lay the foundation of defamation by the AFL.

What he is really doing is stating that he is above the AFL rules and confirms he is in complete denial on and off the field.

He will bring down everyone around him, including his club, to save himself.

Essendon could have saved a lot of heartache by standing him down or in fact sacking him.

He deserves an dishonourable discharge.

Agree with most of the above.
Let them play finals this year - on current form it won't be much longer but instead make them play next year but for no premiership points..

I like it!!
Are Essendon only willing to deal on points now because they can see they will only last one week anyway. Also they have got through the season playing for points so their crowds and membership hasnt been effected, lets see if they get record memberships next year if they're playing for nothing . But as i have said all along this is what Vlad wanted, minmal damage to crowd numbers and the penalties would be handed down after r23, i may be a week out.

Essendon are potentially getting done for lack of management. Not sure where the issue of banned substances comes in to it. More the fact that all and sundry did not really know what was happening with the club. Where is the evidence of illegal drugs???? There isn't any. This is all the AFL has. The management at Essendon should hang their heads in shame however; the whole process regarding ASSADA, WADA and all the other acronyms is a dog's breakfast. The media are also responsible for the junk we see on TV, speculation, innuendo etc. Perhaps their qualifications should include common sense as one of the subjects.

There is a lot of evidence that AOD and Thymosin were being used.

In April, the World Anti-Doping Agency confirmed that TB-4 was banned for use in 2012 under the catch-all section two rule of the WADA code. It also specifically listed TB-4 as banned. Shortly after this interview was conducted, Dank said he had been mistaken when he told Fairfax Media that he had given the players TB-4, a claim he has since made repeatedly. WADA has said that AOD-9604 is banned under section 0 of its code that prohibits athletes using drugs that are not approved for human therapeutic use. Dank has refused to be interviewed by the AFL and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.

What part don't you understand of illegal drugs???? Jobe admitted he used AOD-9604!!!!! Illegal Banned!!!!!!
