If he's ill-informed, so's Rucci and every other person not immediately linked to the Crows that's been discussing the issue, many, many of whom are based in SA.

Clearly if the SA based media want to continue to have media rights and information from the Crows and AFL its in their interest to shut their mouths.
Therefore It is in the interests of all related parties to swallow what the Crows and Sanderson are putting out there.

:) my point is, flogs like Carey and Harley fly off with comments like "if I were a coach I would not go near Adelaide" when do they really know the truth? Comments like that are damaging to the Crows chances of landing a decent coach.

After 24 years, Crows are finally getting good at keeping things in house (New CEO, Sando sacking) without media finding out so maybe, just maybe, the media are way off on this one and it was warranted?

I dont think they're keeping it in house. I think they're making decisions too fast and there not being any time for the info to even get out before it happens.

And why can't they give their opinion on if they would coach there or not? If someone else actually wants to, I dont think someone elses preferences would change their minds.

Also, Tom Harley was part of the advisory team that got Hinkley to Port, and thats turned out pretty well. I dont think he's anywhere near the sole reason for that, but he probably has some idea what he's talking about.

If its fact and proven in court or reported publicly then go for it.
Cheers.

Then delete EVERY post regarding Essendon since 2012.

But that's reported on publicly so fair game

I'm suprised Josh Francou's name hasn't been brought up. Would do a great job IMHO but too new to the AFL system?
HIs clubs have played in 2 GFs in 2 years.

Well, he was the football development manager but anyway.... ;)
As I said, he probably does have to climb up a few ranks to be "eligible" but has excellent traits for a job one day IMHO.

I would love that but I highly doubt this will happen.

Whilst i believe the premiership window is close to shutting at Hawthorn i dont see the Crows as a team that will challenge for the flag in next 5 years. Would be a strange move if it were to happen. He is more likely to perhaps sneak one more at Hawthorn next year than get anywhere near one at Crows. IMO it would be a retirement plan to come to Adelaide
