Nah that only happens to port and rucci

Crows, April premiers???

If finals started now, they'd be a real chance.
Not sure if they'll sustain this form for another 5 months though..

Early season wins are key for us after the draw we copped. Really liking the way we're playing atm. Hopefully a better performance against hawthorn than the semi this friday night

 Top 3 defender in the league, All-Australian. Beat Buddy in majority contests.

He is talking about Michael not Daniel

Reckon everyone would have said the same about Richards when he left Essendon but has been a terrific player in a great team

Can't wait. April is the month where premierships are won and lost.

Love how you guys can never just take it for what it is. Nobody has us flag favourites but it certainly says that on current form we are contending for a top 4 spot.

Are you guys channel 7 will jump of the power bandwagon they've been pushing since before preseason started
Every day day after day they have a Port story at least once they stopped interviewing Wingard ,

And Channel 7 started the Tippet Boo thing seems channel 7 likes to jump from port to Adelaide I do wonder if port stuff up again if the ex port employees at channel 7 will favour the crows

I thought the Crows were very impressive. They out Sydneyed Sydney and I didn't think they could do that with Thier current midfield group. Full marks to Tex Walker and Sauce Jacobs for running the game out when both players were clearly sore. The hard draw could be a blessing in disguise if the Crows keep playing like this. Full marks to the coaching and conditioning staff this team has been beautifully prepared.

Our midfield was excellent last night. Sloane really stood up when we needed him. He and thommo had 10 tackles each. Atkins had he best game of his career too.

I am slight worried about Jacobs and tex though, as you have pointed out. They both look slightly down on peak fitness.

Really happy with our effort for the whole game just lack the polish and another forward option. We are on the right track though

Bombers were excellent yesterday, they knew they were not as good but they worked much harder just simple mistakes let them down. As i have been saying for a year Zach Merrett is a star and this year he is moving into elite numbers. Brilliant again yesterday.

As for Geelong they were terrible, got smashed in the clearances yet all the talk was about Danger and Selwood yet not one player gave Merrett an ounce of respect. The goal kicking was terrible and were more worried about looking good and doing the fundamentals well. I reckon they are a fair way off it

Many Cat fans are not happy with our win over Essendon citing that our club did not give Essendon enough respect. But perhaps that analysis is disrespectful as well. The Bombers appear to be attempting to implement a high possession game plan designed to keep them in matches for as long as possible.

They are also quite accountable for thier man and this hard nose style of game has Worsfold written all over it. Last year a weaker Geelong Unit kept a stronger Essendon unit goalless for a half with James Hird in charge. If a team doesn't bring intensity to the contest then Essendon are a chance. The effort was huge from Essendon yesterday but I can't say the same for many Cats as more than a few were leaving it for others to get the job done.

When the Cats did start winning more of the ball the result was a slew of points with some laughable shooting for goal. I have to buy a new Fox remote thanks guys. Eventually the Bombers ran out of legs after the luckless Laverde went down and we got up but not one for the time capsule that's for sure.

REB

On he Sydney side, how good was Heeney. He looks so good whenever he goes near the ball. In a year or two when they let him off the leash and into he midfield, he could be the next Fyfe

Yep, he looked fantastic. Courageous in the air, perfectly balanced when he hits the deck, and excellent skills. Definitely one to watch.

All BS aside the crows did play well. As a casual observer, the crows kicking efficiency seems to have improved considerably already under Pyke. Sets up Friday nights game nicely. Danger game for the Hawks now!

Worried about Tex? 2 goals 10 marks and 16 touches. Playing his role

He played well last night but he still doesn't look 100% and hasn't all season imo

Just saw the replay of May on Martin.

Reckon he sits out a month at the absolute least. Pretty weak actually, didn't even attempt to go for the ball

When he came onto the bench halfway into the last he was shaking his head. Didn't look right. Toughed it out well when he came back on, though, and set up the winning goal.

Crows didnt have a match up for him, had Cheney most of the night, Cheney must go if you are to be a contender, he will never be a premiership player

I think Cheney is much better when hartigan is in the team. Also allows brown to play further up the ground and be more rebounding than just a pure lockdown
