Incredible effort by the Giants with so many players out. They are going to be hard to beat in finals

No they shouldn't.
It's precisely why soccer is a great game, they don't feel the need to change the rules every 5 minutes

At least there is 1 positive for port people can't say they haven't beat a top 8 side now. Because the swans are in the 8 after last night.
Good win tigers. Great game on the other channel watch out when the giants get there whole squad to choose from very good football side. Although cats had quite a few missing so fair effort from them.

Yes Richmond may win no doubt, but it won't be because Richmond are tough that's for sure.

Port 24-36

You were saying?? Very tough and finals like

Lol @ me getting to spend the night at a crap game at Adelaide Oval missing the GWS v Cats game in its entirety. What a gutsy perfomance by the Cats, I gave them no chance not even knowing Menzel would be out. My cats never fail to amaze me with their courage.
Big thanks to the umpire for blowing the whistle as Hawkins kicked.

Less than 40k to a top four clash in perfect winter weather... when are you going to turn up?

I always thought a top 4 clash would be between two top 4 sides?
But you're right as Spotless doesn't hold 40k!

Tonight was my quietest night working at a bar, even though there was smaller crowds at the soccer and NRL it was busier for those two events.
Hundreds of Port supporters were leaving with me 5 minutes into the last quarter walking across the bridge.
Even from a noise perspective it was eerily quiet tonight.

Massive performance from the Cats, the better side for most of the game.

Promised myself I wouldn't get seduced by Port again this season but it seems I have.

yep, what do draws accomplish in AFL. Extra time would be exciting as hell

Except that the AFL are trying to reduce game time. Makes more sense to leave it as is and it work itself out over the course of the year.

Was wondering why a few of these guys weren't picked

MELBOURNE ruled four players ineligible for AFL selection against Sydney on Friday night after breaking club rules by indulging in a drinking session last week.

The Herald Sun can reveal Jay Kennedy-Harris, Ben Kennedy, Dean Kent and Jake Spencer were all told they would not be picked against the Swans, despite the Demons’ mounting injury list.
