Just aiming high, they wouldn't expect to be successful with it .. Get bartered down and hope they end up slightly better than what they're expecting I'd guess.

Do AFC trade him now while on contract and more valuable vs if he wants to leave at the end of next year, he's out of contract and Brisbane would not have to give up as much.

No idea if it was true, but I heard his mrs had a beef with eddie's mrs. so if thats sorted it makes sense he would want to stay
