West Coast also used that playbook back in May 2017........

Saturday night games are a recipe for disaster, too many boneheads who can't handle their grog get loaded before the game. Pitch invader also.

The Sunday Twilight timeslot should solve those issues [emoji6]

Even Tredrea and Kane can't be quiet this week about their club. Gone backwards on and off the field over last fortnight

Wasn’t the pitch invader a Geelong fan?

The Mrs and I were in there a good half hour 40 minutes after the game must’ve been just after we left. There wasn’t many left in there when we left.

Doesn't matter to me, was our game so we get tainted by it.

For sure but it’s a fair beat up by the media. Obviously they don’t go to big games at the MCG as I’ve seen more brawls than I can remember. Last year at Essendon v Hawthorn round 1 there was a huge crowd fight involving probably 150-200 people but it barely got a mention

A few people booing Selwood got a fair over reaction IMO.

Boo him all you want during the game but surely people can have some respect for 5 minutes in this instance

No doubt they could, yes. Is it the end of humanity? Wouldn't have thought so.

If we really want to show respect then don't do the minutes silence, ode, last post ceremony on days other than Anzac Day. That, for me, is far more disrespectful than a some people making a boo noise.

Media report it, social media hero's turn it into the greatest tragedy known to man.

I'm staggered at the reaction to booing Selwood.

A. Joel Selwood is not an ANZAC or member of the military.
B. It was not during any formal or official ANZAC ceremony.
C. Selwood is a weasel ****.

Port people were incredibly respectful during the ode and minutes silence. You know, the stuff that matters.

The violence is an issue, though. We have a problem that needs addressing. We're no orphans in that regard but we need to step up to the plate and own it.
