Did you see when Buddy got pinged for coming into the centre square too early? why was there a free kick if only 3 Swans in there? They are allowed 4!

31k in perfect weather. Was the quietest whilst I've been working at footy games there.

11.3.4 Permitted Numbers at the Centre Bounce
When the football is bounced to start a quarter or recommence play after a Goal has been scored, the following shall apply:
(a) a maximum of 4 Players from each Team are permitted in the Centre Square;
(b) Of the 4 Players, one player from each Team is permitted to be within the 10 meter circle;
(c) no Player (other than the 4 initial Players) or Team Official shall enter the Centre Square from the time the field Umpire commences their approach to the Centre Circle to bounce the football until the football touches the ground, in the act of bouncing, or leaves the field Umpire’s hand, in the act of being
thrown up


If you are one short in the centre square (maximum of four) when the umpire is starts their approach to the centre circle to start the play no-one can enter the centre square even if you are one short.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
