Hinkleys first year was 2013, Geelong knocked them out in the finals. I think they had a good season, wouldn't say they over achieved, if that's even possible.

Yeah i would have him down as

2013- par to maybe slightly above par
2014- exceptional / over acheived
2015- extremly dissapointing / under achevied

Reports out of Melb that fitting Dixon into Port's already stretched salary cap means a current higher profile player casualty - Hamish Hartlett.
It is alleged the Crows & Melbourne have shown interest....

There's been rumours for a few months now that the Crows will keep a fair portion of their Salary Cap available for a decent go at Wingard when he comes out of contract (which I think is end of 2016?).

I'd rather not have Dixon if it means trading Hartlett. Can't we do a package deal with Mitchell, O'Shea and B Ebert instead?
Not happy still ? Have Butcher as well.

there is no way in hell he would come. seems fanciful at best given port will give him what he is worth, and he would stay in adelaide regardless

A Port supporter who doesn't rate Ebert? Well I'll be f#cked, maybe you don't all have the blinkers on.

I can't see it happening but it came from a pretty close source - wouldn't blame the Crows for trying but doubt they'd be able to swing it.

Yeah, nah, DW gets all testy if I comment on Port Adelaide matters too much.

He's a strong lad that can find the ball, his disposal is poor and he goes missing in the tough games.

He, IMO, was out best player in the first 5 weeks of this year, widely spoken about how tough that early draw was too.

From that he got a dose of the fumbles, his disposal efficiency went down and he went from one of our premier midfielders to well behind several others. He's capable, but he's no Dangerfield.

Tell you what, send us the two first rounders you get for Danger and we'll send you Ebert. Ok?

Neither win you a premiership.

My brother and I have had about a 3 year argument about him, he goes nuts about his turnovers and I stick up for him because he gets the ball, his decision making is very poor at times.

I remember copping crap from Port Supporters about 'Stealing' Ebert from WC. Smart move by both parties, as he wouldn't be getting a game a WC.
