Hird got off too lightly!

Yep id say Dank, Robinson and Hird potentially life bans.
I think the players will get 6 month bans, with how crooked the AFL is it wouldnt surprise me if a deal has already been done to get a lighter sanction for the players

Im sorry jim i must have missed something, did the AFL inject the players?
It seems to be the only straw anyone from Essendon clings to, deflect deflect deflect.
The AFL had the competitions interests in mind in ensuring no cheats participated in the finals and were always going to close the saga from their end before the finals regardless of what ASADA was doing. The only thing that makes sense over how light the penalties were was that they knew full well that ASADA would give those involved the proper wack. This is hardly a corrupt practice,
Im sure the AFL would have preferred it if Essendon didnt cheat and therefore wouldnt have to deal with any of this.
Hird will never coach again so that 2 year contract extension will be another unwanted expense for the bombers, great governance from "chicken" Little!
Shut em down and ship em off to Tassie where they would appreciate being part of the AFL

I thought the same thing, that AFL knows the major players in this saga are going to get their whack from the appropriate body.

But its the AFL who hands down the penalties.
ASADA present their findings and recommendations to the AFL but its up to the AFL to issue what penalties it deems appropriate. Thats why I believe the players will get 3-6 month bans only

And why's that? They obviously wernt on the gear this year.
Get Jobe back on the antifat drug and he "wins" again
Can't wait for it to be stripped and Jobe get 12months, see how much poor Timmy has to say then about defending the cheats

AOD isnt an issue.
Infraction notices will be given for Thymosin only.
You just worry about tomorrow night, I see your mate number 30 has been given a gig this week, would piss myself if he got the Hawks game
