What i find funny, is a fair few Crows fans i know accept losing Dangerfield to Geelong because its hometown, not for the money etc etc.

Now that the Crows are playing hardball and he may not get to Geelong i wonder what their reactions will be if he ends up at Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs, Carlton despite it not being his fault.

I cant seem them being too fused if he goes to say another Vic club and they do ok compensation wise. If they get screwed over and he ends up at Carlton, well maybe they might not be so happy.

The media are trying to beat it up massively and really need to make as much out of it as possible. But most fans that I have spoken to had a strong feeling this was the case and really made peace with it.

I think if they are compensated well enough they'll all move on.

I'd say 50% have taken it well, 40% are angry and 10% are clueless

The best line is:

This is not going to be the first disappointment they have and its a relatively minor one.....

Says it all really in the context if life.

What a last couple of days...

Woosha gone
Campo won't run for Coach next season (don't mind this though)
Danger gone
I am hearing Poulos is going to Geelong and Burton to replace him (I know this has been mentioned before and I said "laughable" but my reliable source has confirmed it...)
Investigation into Talia brothers

Never a dull moment in Crow land.

Really, I think he's done an exceptional job, my only criticism of their form is they seem to lay down a little too easy when getting beaten and the games blow out.

So do you now have Collingwood, Hawthorn, Essendon etc all putting bids together?

ie - Collingwood say we've got Broomhead, picks 10 and 19 ( if they can trade them in, purely hypothetical )

Essendon say Carlile, pick 6.

Hawthorn trade a player in and out and say picks 8 and 19 ( again, hypothetical )

All in the aid of trumping any Geelong offer? Would love to know the full machinations at play.

Essendon have definately made a play but Carlisle not in it, he will only play in Victoria. We have a lot of $$ but cant see us a serious destination yet. Think the club has plans to offer O'Meara and Prestia big offers for 2017
