On this seasons form, he’s much better than a B grader.
The fact that it was reported there were 4 clubs into him as well as Port desperate for him to stay reflects that.

Oh please. If Port Adelaide had made him a 5 year $3.5m deal you'd be laughing your arse off.

Sounds like you didn't need to get anywhere near that offer at the start of the season which he would have taken

So are you suggesting he is an A grader?

I wouldnt of thought so.

No I wouldn’t, and that’s irrelevant.
The argument was he’s better than a B grader, something I dare say you’d agree with?

His best footy is A grade but when he’s not on he’s terrible.
Looks like he was more consistent this year though hence his increase in value.

We are going to see a lot more B+ graders getting coin like that though moving forward.

On this seasons form he’d be pretty damn close.

Sucks when you can't keep shitcanning the bloke now that he plays for you. You've spent years bagging him. :D

I had it with Brett Montgomery. I understand.

Lol, won't be saying that when his foot flares up playing on Etihad's surface every second week. As Booney said in the other thread, I think we got this one right. Don't have any problems with him taking the extra coin & years when his foot is still a risk especially on that surface

So you think 5×700 is closer to his value than 3x500?

I think they are both outside his value.
4 years at $600k would have got it done at the start of the season. 4 years at $550k prob would have got it done also.
Leave him on the market and this is what happened...
I understand why Port did it though. His feet are make of chalk.
They gambled and lost. Now North have the upper hand in the trade as he can walk to North in the PSD if they don't trade.

  He won't end up at the PSD. Even if he did, someone else would take him before North. Also, if we offered him 4 years now he would take it. The club doesn't want to & I back them on this one
