I reckon Young for Toumpas would be a great trade for Port.

Toumpas could get sliced up and made into chips. He's a spud.

Melbourne have ****** their talent identification up for a long time and taking him at #4 is no different. We know what we get with Young, he has a crack and his year, this year, was a little spoiled by being used as the sub a lot and his hair cut.

Get him into a barbers chair and into the side with some regularity and he'll be more than serviceable IMO and I think he could be a good run with player given the chance. He's hard at it, tackles well and can go all day.

F**k no! Toumpas has always been and will always be as soft as butter!!!!! As I've said before he's one of the softest junior guns I've seen, pace to burn and brilliant creativity and skills but as soon as he got tackled he was done. I still remember when he got crunched at Flinders Park and went off sooking.

Surely Port wouldn't get rid of Youngy for Toumpas. Seriously.

Maybe its a case of Young looking for more game time than Port wanting him gone.

Melbourne with some interest in Ben Kennedy. Few clubs seemingly interested in Seedsman, though the lad is not keen to move out of Victoria.

Nothing concrete on Aish yet, he's still on holiday overseas. Speculation he may be on the move to the Hawks.

Leigh Mathews was adamant that they wont be trading him out and that he would be going into the draft if he doesnt re-sign with them

I heard Lethal say that, I'd believe what Lethal has to say on that one.

How will Aish look in Navy Blue then?

Swann later distanced himself from those comments.

It's a ridiculous statement from Matthews, as there's no way they'd let Aish go to the PSD and they end up with nothing.

Matthews runs the show up there.
Maybe he is deciding to take a stand and stop the exodus or atleast bluff the kids into thinking that.

I don't reckon Matthews has as much power as you think. They would be ridiculed if they lost Aish for nothing and I don't reckon the bosses at AFL house would be too happy about it either.

You might be right but sometimes you have to make a stand rather than be screwed continually. They will ask for a first rounder minimum or a decent player for Aish. No way will they accept a second rounder for him. Not sure if anyone is willing to give that up to get him. It also may just be bluff to get him to sign on again

They've got much more to worry about than copping a bit of ridicule. They're the Bears again, that's the biggest problem that they have.

Lethal just playing hardball to get the best deal they can. No way the Lions can afford to lose an up and coming too 10 draft pick for nix

Has Port's Andrew Moore got any potential and what is his trade worth?
Seems we are very interested in him if we could get him at the right price but havnt seen a lot of him this year
