Freo
Sydney
Hawks
(Daylight)

West coast
Geelong
Richmond
Kangaroos
Port
Adelaide
Essendon
Carlton
Bulldogs
Gold Coast

Brisbane
Melbourne
GWS
St Kilda

I believe there is a clear top 3 and a clear bottom 4 the rest will simply depend on injuries and a lot of luck. If I had to pick 3 teams to make the 8 that didn't last year it would be West Coast, Kangeroos and maybe Adelaide therefore 3 would have to miss so Carlton, I really think Collingwood are really on the slide and I hate to say it but maybe Port. I hope not but I think it might be a case of 1 step back to take a few big leaps forward.
you've gota keep on keep'n on .........

agree with the above, would probably put the dogs in the bottom category for one more year, but they look to be getting themselves sorted out.

going to be a great year with a lot of teams perceived to be very close.

i worry about the crows having injury concerns already. i think we need a pretty fit list to push for the finals. if jacobs ever gets injured we will be f*cked.

i think the same can be said of port as well, given their tougher draw this year. if lobbe or boak or shultz go down i think you guys will be in trouble.

Freo v Sydney GF, Lock it in

Whats worse they could both be on unbeaten runs of 16 and 21 games respectively

Only tough game for Swans is R20 v port in Adel
Freo have Geelong at SS in R20
Id expect them both to win those games on current form

As i said only tough game is Port away.
Us in 2 weeks will be a stroll in the park for you, that will be out 3rd loss in a row.
We will be lucky to sneak into the bottom part of the 8. Probably come down to us v Pies in R 23 for us to even make it

And Essendon, GC and Adelaide.
They have a very easy run home and should win all of them but id expect them to drop atleast 1 or 2

This Adelaide v Hawthorn game next Friday night promises to be a cracker. With Lake being out too that helps a bit. Looking forward to it already...

Still not consistent enough to challenge this years flag in my opinion. Their worst is terrible but sides like Sydney, Freo, Hawthorn and Port still remain in the contest when not playing well.

Only once since 97 has a team come from outside the top 6 the year before and won the thing. That team went on to become one of modern footballs greatest sides.

Pretty interesting stat imo. Shows that finishing 8th you are prolly still 2 years away from challenging.
