Willsmore unfortunately should join the illustrious list of one gamers. No doubt though he will get more opportunities with the situation we are in, has been on the list a long time, its time to find out if he has anything to offer

Let's just hope he doesn't finish up like the other Cousins.

Premiership player
Brownlow medallist...

Loved last night. Best game of the year for Duryea by FAR.
Hardwick looked good, and Sicily for the first time in defence looked composed.
Almost an all played well, Breust clearly not 100%, may have copped an early knock. The Shoe even looked likely.
Great to have Birchall back, we''ve been getting slammed (some deserved) for a few performances this year but he is a cog we've sadly missed.

Oh and Burton. May be a player. :)

Has Howe played midfield for us before? Reckon he would have got plenty out of running around with Sloan.
Hope Hodge goes around again nest season even if only plays half of it, worth his weight in gold with direction etc. on field.

Looks like Clarkos 5 week rebuild plan is almost complete.
Should be back playing finals next season and in flag contention the year after.
If he can win another flag in the next 5 years he will be the undisputed GOAT

And his rebuild will come crashing down after a 76pt loss at the G next week

Watched the presser, may have teared up just a tad. Absolute champion of our club.

Looks like that Round 23 game against the dogs will be tough getting a ticket for- I'll certainly be doing my best to get there.

Been a great career to follow, love the way he goes about it. May have crossed the line here and there, but all in the chase for success, which he was pretty good at. Always feel that bit older when another champion retires after you saw the start-finish of their career.

Why don't you wait for his last game, they might push for September action.

The better players do this and rightly so. Need to be right on the edge.

In this day and age, I hate the way players are labelled thugs because the game just doesn't allow for it.
There's a difference between crossing the line and being a thug.

Luke Hodge is a gun and will always be regarded as one by anyone who has any idea about the game.
Well done on a good career.

The next couple weeks will tell the story,
Geelong G
Freo away
Sydney G
Rich G
before finishing with
Roos Tas
Carlton ES
Bulldogs ES

If we just look at current form of all teams, we would win 5 and be 50/50 against Cats and Swans. We would need to win a minimum of 6 to get there, beating the Cats in Hodgey's 300th would be a great start, I have a good feeling about this week especially now that we play a tagger of sorts, Howe has been fantastic the last month.
Obviously things can change very quickly, Bulldogs may get on a roll with their easy draw over the next month
