Are guys were good but geez the Eagles were pathetic. No onfield leadership whatsoever and with one of the oldest lists in the comp they were badly exposed as plodders. Only Kennedy and Darling had a real crack today. For us Zac was superb again and the banned guys are starting to really gel, Hurley has been great pretty much all season but Jobe and Heppell had their best games. Hooker is coming on beautiful up forward and works well with Joe and Stewart which frees up our mosquito fleet

The best thing to come out of this round, is the fact Port have now beaten a top 8 side :D

Quality, consistent teams are in short supply this season. But yes, not bad for a club/coach written off after Round 2.

They have gone about that nicely at the moment and well and truely in the mix now. Crazy really after what they dished up earlier in the season.

And us in Melbourne, same old same old.

Brisbane 0-5, Richmond 1-4, Freo 4-1, and GWS 4-1 are the only four sides that havent split their last five games either 3-2 or 2-3.

And we all know how the close the Richmond Freo and GWS games have been.

Amazingly close season so far.

Real bit of energy about the Roos at the moment, love how they met the Melbourne aggression head on and our muscled them to victory, while getting it done on the inside the outside run is then cutting up teams, getting the balance right with such an young team is really hard, loving the journey.

Melbourne's midfield are as thick as shit. As soon as you stood up to them they took their eye off the ball and become a much less formidable opposition. Adelaide would be looking back wondering why they let Bernie ******* Vince of all people push them around.

Could have done it even more comfortably if you hadn't butchered so much handball. I'm sure that will come as the young group plays together more. I'd be pretty happy with the direction the club is taking if I were a Roo's fan - To be honest I thought you'd struggle a fair bit more than you have this season.

No rucks and no Jesse Hogan. It was a good game but you rode on the back of Goldstein. I think North are better than they've been given credit for but lets face it, you beat up on your bunny team without two of their key players and you needed the umps to help you over the line. You guys got away with about three trips for a start.

You missed a Port clash amongst them. I'd pencil in 4 matches that you should win and 7 50/50's out of the remaining games, perhaps Port away and the Doggies might be on the tough side but all of the rest are very winnable.
