Yeah as of now I've got my top 4 as

Melbourne DAYLIGHT
Brisbane
Western Bulldogs
Sydney

Then throw a bag over St Kilda, Fremantle, Carlton, Geelong, Richmond who i think we will be 'ok' for a large part of the season. Then there is the Crows, Collingwood and Hawks who are decent now but I expect to fade as the season goes on.

You're in the "bunch of young lads having a red hot crack" pool, this is the footy I like to watch, every game all these young lads play is a game more experience.

As much as it saddens me to see a statesman like Sloane get a LTI it really is a blessing in disguise, you're not winning the flag this year so you may as well pencil in a year that you will have good tilt at it, it all starts now. you have some good kids coming through atm.

Sorry meant more like Lightning said, a bunch of young lads having a crack playing with confidence.

But we'll miss out on all the shit-canning on here, we're 0-5, there's still heaps more poo to throw at us.

Melbourne may be streets ahead but you've got to make every post a winner when it counts, I think both Brisbane and the Dogs are capable of defeating them, and they'll lose a couple along the way when they're $1.15 favourites.

That's going to happen regardless mate, logic and shit canning are two mutually exclusive SAFooty phenomena, present company not excluded....

Not if we end the season now and give them the cup, how else will UK mask his disappointment with how his beloved Dogs are going with their crowds of 386 to take pot shots at Port's crowds?

It takes all kinds to make up the classroom.

What else will the AFL industry have to talk about if they don't?
I lost count of all the media outlets rolling out the headlines this morning already

Did laugh at Walker talking what about he 'would've got' if he had kicked someone.

Thought he would be best advised keeping his mouth closed on player suspensions given there is a fair percentage of the 'world football' who believe he got off lightly.

Is the game about the game or umpires ! Dissent please what next if the crowd boo umps will make a call?

I believe commentators are not allowed to make any negative comments re umpire decisions.

How about throwing the ball up as bouncing is comical and no idea when it will be recalled.

It actually feels like it's the opposite and they have to praise it - the amount of times I heard "this is a great initiative" over the weekend for "umpire respect" was sickening.

By all means punish umpire abuse - and if you want to be harsher at lower levels then go for it.. but this is elite sport at the top end, players should be allowed to talk to umpires or ask a question - or show some emotion if a decision goes against them.

Remember when this was the promo ad for AFL, geez times have changed.

Im a fan of the dissent rule.

As reviews in cricket have seen, players are terrible at decision making and generally see what happened completely wrong.

Shut up and play the game.

Rugby union is one of the few sports that have got the respect between players/officials right.
