I can understand a Port supporter resenting the club that genuinely represents the majority of SA followers of AFL football - all those who don't barrack for Port - and has won TWO premierships, because Port in their grandiosity thought they were entitled to the first licence, but what's the other guy's beef??

I'm more generous and inclusive. I support Norwood and the Crows but I will support Port against Collingwood, because I feel some sympathy for some Port-orientated family members - poor misguided souls. [ My sister made her fiance quit his Port Adelaide SANFL membership and join the Norwood Football Club before she would marry him!]

Do you ever read the AFL topics on here, there are quite a few Richmond, Collingwood, Geelong, Sydney, Essendon supporters living in SA on this site alone.

I see the AFL websites Gameday Live system is worse than last year. Currently the scoreboard is about 13 minutes behind the 5aa commentary.

Talking of 5aa...am I the only one that wants to drag Cornsey out onto an iceflow and beat him to death like a seal pup for the way he keeps interrupting the commentary.

they try to pack heaps statistics and different stuff into the gameday live thingy and then it takes ages to update and load it. The AFL website is useless.

adelaide killed them in the second term the only downside being the absolute shoking in the back decision that gave the pies their only goal of the quarter

as long as they contiue to put in that sort of effort, their is no other choice, this is the reason why NC traded welsh, hudson and delisted torney and bode, to creaTe scope for the young guys

NC declated his hand back in Oct 07

Hudson was traded because he wanted to go, not because Craig wanted him gone.

I know its only pre-season comp but the Crows are looking impressive.
Their ability to move the ball quickly from defence through the lines with pace & in numbers, maintaining posession is a surprise considering the loss of some instrumental players from 2007.
Alot of young players standing up all over the ground, inparticular the midfield, which is a good sign for the Crows.
I think alot (including myself) may end up with egg on our face, predicting a not so good year for the Crows.
I hope Collingwood's just had a bad night!

Hudson was traded because the crows were not prepared to offer him a 3 year deal
