Jason Porplyzia

Talk on the national game

Edwards has the runs on the board over many seasons -- a very good player.

Jason has it still in front of him to prove but is definitely on the way

Having seen both of these kids since they started at Westies and observed both overcome adversities in their career I do believe (injuries aside) that Jason will be every bit as good as Tyson.

Sadly not related to either :D

I rekon Porplyzia will be a star but he has still got a long way to go !!!

Also Zoomer will go down in Crows history as being the most underated player they have ever had !!!
It is what it is !!!

Agree he is a star of the future and IMO he has better hands below his knees than anyone in the crows side even Bungy. When he gets his fitness to a point where Edwards is/has been then he will be every bit as good.

Thought he was best for Adelaide and watching his gives and quick hands he reminded me a bit of a Andrew Jarman / Diesel Williams

To think the crows dropped this kid of their list and went back and played great footy at westies and got himself re-drafted

He is a real "Rising Star"

In colour is west adelaide recruited talent

Was likened to Gary Ablett Jnr with this ability to get the ball at ground level and keep his feet and pace. Obvioulsy not as quick as ablett but i can see the simularities. hope he has a great year, the Crows need some players to step up.

Dwayne Russell said he reminds him of Chris Judd. with how strong he is through the hips and how he breaks tackles & his hands are very very good

Why is that interesting?
I figured it would be common sense to want those players back so my team doesn't suck big hairy balls any more.

If you think that's a big call, then try this on for size:

Jason Porplyzia will win a Brownlow medal.

You would get MASSIVE odds for that one

ACTUALLY 500 / 1

I have put $10 on Jason at those odds, I gather what's $10

I can only get about 100/1 on Porps now.

I reckon he's almost as good as edwards already.

NO,

he's the guy that copped one of the biggest hip and shoulders you'd ever get, missed a quarter, came back on, took a high mark, and finished the game with over 25 possessions.

That dropped mark was probably the only mistake he's made all year. I've seen similar mistakes from the best.

Atleast he got the chance to drop a mark, unlike #1 from Port who didn't get near it all day.
