Looks like only Dew will miss, even though he's been named...

I think you may be right, given that Surjan wasn't named for the Magpies but Wanganeen and Thurstans were named in their respective SANFL line-ups.

An upset is looking highly unlikely!

leaving in Syd I hear that the weather forecast is for a wet and windy night, this may bring the teams closer together

I am in the UK, I notice that the Crows have named Ivan Maric for his first game. Interesting with the weather supposedly wet and windy!

AHHH, hows the serenity......To all the Smear supporters "Suffer in your jocks!!"

Keep losing Port improves our chances of keeping Sellar or Gibbs in SA, FWIW we won't have Willits or Douglas much longer especially not next year.

C'mon Choco, you love us we love you, we kick started your coaching career, do it for the Bays, keep on losing....

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

solid win by the crows, 50 pts in those type of condition, I would take every time

Port, well I am not too sure where they are at, finals will definitely be out of their reach, just on Motlop, he is averaging 10 posessions per game over the first 6 rounds and has only kicked 3 goals, if I was a port supporter I would be a little disapointed with his output at the moment

From last night, also...

Wilson, Thurstans, Schofield, Hardwick, Dew.

Season going pretty much as expected.

Wildly inconsistent from one quarter to the next let alone one game to the next.

The kids are showing some promising signs.

Motlop has been disappointing thus far - shades of Byron 2003. But he managed to turn it around halfway through that year. Desperatley need Motlop to do the same.

Short term pain for long-term gain...

not sure if the younger players at the power can create the long term gain required to be a force as they were a few years ago.
crows also had rucuitto, burton, welsh, hudson, torney missing

positives for the crows, I thought it was Hentchel's and Doughty's best game for the club for a long time, even though the Conditions did not suit and he did not get much game time, I was very pleased with Maric, he is going to be a really good player for the club.

Roo and Burton back next week, players like Douglas performing in the SANFL, Welsh and Torney a couple of weeks away, Vince and Proplyzia not doing too much wrong, their will be plenty of pressure and competition for spots.

Well either way they probably will be looking at a high draft pick.

Yeah pity the crows are missing, Burton, Welsh, Ruccitio, Torney, Hudson, Bock, and Perrie from their best team.

But let me guess only two of those are premiership players so they don't count I susppose.......
