Why (some) Crows Barrackers Are Morons...

Talk on the national game

Postby noone » Tue Aug 08, 2006 8:41 pm

As an WCE supporter ive been in the minority for all the AFL games ive attended (half a dozen in SA, prolly 4 in melb), i figured id make a few sweeping judgements :P (ps in all the games ive attended the eagles have lost them all... )

carton supporters are feral

crows supporters have never actually played football.

as someone else hinted at when the crows came in a whole bunch of people and families jumped on the bandwaggon, nothing wrong with that, however the sheer amount of crows supporters who just dont understand how the game works. The applauding a easy chest mark on the wing like it was something more than a routine play (generally i think a good rule is that you should prolly not applaud something if had they f'd it up you would of laughed at them.

The worst supporter ive had to sit behind was this old women who ill assume was named dorethy, she repeated the following line (or varients of it) a dozen times over the game "What are you doing THAT for?!?!?" *what ever the player was doing was quite logical and results a crows mark/goal* "oh well done *player*, i told you to do that!". Drove me insane

all they know is BBBBAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, even if the player has not taken clean possession

Mate I went to Perth twice last year to watch the Crows, Freo crowd was not bad but your Eagles, lets just say, bodering on feral

Haven't these people learned anything about the game in FIFTEEN YEARS?!? Surely they've picked up a thing or two since the Crows entered the competition.

I know of a family of crows supporters who go to the matches and watch them play. they tape the game and when they get home watch the same match they have just seen and they STILL abuse the players. I asked them why and they said in all honesty the result might change. And these people ARE allowed to BREED

when it's a 50/50 crowd, the ferals and morons can get lost in the crowd, but when it's 90% support one way it is highlighted that much more.....

i am sure when supporters travel interstate to watch the crows v melbourne based team, it is exactly the same

once again waste of a thread, footy atttracts all sorts, all clubs have the good, the bad, the feral and the uneducated

went to skilled last year and thought i was a billy-bob's trailer park

a great example in the last quarter - Basset i believe went straight for the line, and it was given as deliberate, a good decision, the people next to me were trying to say it was off the side of his boot and even when they watched the reply kept on saying the same thing.......

they obviously didnt see the same as what i did or the umpire.

Yes it was deliberate !!!!!!

But they need to pay them all and they dont - frustrated me thinks !!!!

A few years ago I took my then 8yo daughter to watch the Cows and Geelong. As a Geelong supporter she had her guernsey on and her fave player, Ablett Jnr, kicked the first goal of the match.

As she was cheering a "woman" in her mid to late 40s leant over the top of her from the row behind and yelled "Hey Ablett, got any dead girls in your hotel room?"
My daughter said whats she mean and I said they are all jealous dont worry. I turned around and for the first time in my life threatened a "woman" with serious physical harm. A few Cows supporters next to me were shocked by her comment and to their credit when Ablett kicked the next goal an older man in the samw row leant over, tapped my daughter on the shoulder and said" is that your fave player sweetheart, he's good isn't he?" and gave me a "were not all wankers" wink.

Bag the hell out of me i dont care but an 8yo girl?
Funny thing is we have NEVER had a problem with the Pooh Power crowd!

Fester love the piccy it is good to see another Wrestling fan not afraid to admit they are one. All clubs have their feral supporters some clubs more than others. Ie the Pram lady from West Adelaide, A few Port Power fans and nearly all collingwood supporters with no teeth and an iq of a lettuce.
