The crows rated Faulker so highly Reid has compared him to a young Mcleod. The kid has struggled with living in Melbourne and the club believes thaey can tapp in to his unlimited potential........

Good trade young Cam has pace something the Crows need
in the near future.
Centrals barrackers will have noticed his talents.

Faulkner is quick????????????

WTF???????????????

Must be the slowest quick player in the AFL.

1. Meesen wants to go back home and given that he is out of Contract the crows can do little to keep him other then to accept a reasonable trade

2. Not sure if he will see reasonable game time in 2007, Hudson, Biglands and Maric are all in frot of Meesen and Griffin is rated highly by the crows

I read with interest today that Wallace has come out and said that the AFL should revamp the draft system and not award the bottom side first selection, rather have a lottery or reward from 9th place down........

I find this statement a bit rich given the Tigers have recently recieved early picks for finishing in the bottom 3 and now the Tigers are likely to finish around 9th and 10th for the next couple years he is calling for a change.......

Yes thats laughable that Wallace would say that!! Maybe we'll give him his wish if hes prepared to lose Deledio and Tambling etc. For clubs like Richmond, and to a lesser extent the Bulldogs, early draft picks is basically the only reason why theyre competitive and keeping them still alive on and off the field.

I think eventually the system needs to be changed, but it would be unbelievable unfair if clubs like Port never got a chance to rebuild through decent draft picks, given that they've had very few in their history (Salopek, but all up nowhere near as many as other clubs).

It is fact that the Crows wanted Faulkner but was snaffled by the Bulldogs.

The suggested trade is a good one in my books as the kid can play !!!

Just remember a kid called Johncock when every one said who the is he - pick 50 something !!!

Blue Boy, I agree I would be happy with the Faulkner trade, playing with Mcleod and stiffy would help his footy

So they can play back at Centrals......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I think Butler would get a game at the crows, his form recently has been very solid, Waters is the player I have been impressed with

don't get me wrong I would love to see Hurn in the tri colours, I was hoping Hurn was going to be picked up by the crows, but the eagles got in first, unfortunately I can't see him back in SA for a few more years

I was of the opinion that they did want him, but there was no way McLeod was prepared to play for them, hence they traded him to the Cows for some budding superstar lol!
