Serious or taking the piss?
I've heard 4 for us so not sure.
Despite our lowly position we were still one of the biggest crowd drawers last year and the AFL can't afford to have one of their big clubs down for too long

Although, at least with Friday night games you can still enjoy the weekend. With Sunday twilight fixtures you're a nervous wreck right up until minutes before work on Monday.

Will give us 3 yearly marquee games with potential sell outs. Geelong understandably were keen to jump on board

Otherwise our first four games would be Hawthorn, Freo, Sydney and Adelaide away.

I'd say that in 2016 it should be Eagles v.Hawthorn. I can't really understand why it should be awarded to Pies Bombers year after year.
Did a disproportionate amount of Anzacs come from those two clubs or something along those lines? If there's a good explanation for it I'll take those sentiments back, but as it is it doesn't make much sense.

Because they were the only two clubs who wanted ANZAC day initially, every other club was opposed to it. Both clubs have a long term agreement on it now

And north Melbourne basically started friday night footy but they rarely get one. Still cant understand why we continue to not play on Good Friday.
