Not as flashy as the others mentioned, but tough as nails, tidy enough skills and knows how to find the pill. A favourite among Saints supporters.

Collingwood built their premiership on the nice guy persona of McRae - being a coach that made it fun to be around and at training and game days. Let's see how long that lasts at 0-3 and the Melbourne media howling at the door.

Their game was built on the hunger of 22 players and their ability to get to contest after contest in numbers.

Win a premiership is the hunger there?
Start pre-season a few weeks later than last 3 opponents.....is the fitness to get to contest at the same level at the moment?

GWS had one week longer off. Sydney and St Kilda had 3 weeks longer off.

We look a month behind our opposition at the minute.
I think there is some hunger issues, has to be.
The players may not perceive it but it's definitely there.
Not sure what McRae needs to do to be in the starting 22.

GWS had one week longer off. Sydney and St Kilda had 3 weeks longer off.

Means they had more residual fitness left over from last season ;)

Perhaps a few Collingwood players were tired after attending the F1 Grand Prix Ball on Wednesday evening

Perfectly legal able to keop your arms extended/straight to hold position in a marking contest

They just cant extend (change the angle of the elbow) in doing so

Tredders on radio, When asked about how the game will go on the weekend:

‘Port are 5th, Richmond are 14th, that probably tells you everything you need to know about their form.’

One game is now an indication of form is it dopey?

Mitch Duncan and Tom Atkins late outs for the Cats.
Mitch Duncan's wife went into labour at about 3pm with what will be their 4th child so it probably won't take long to pop out.
Atkins is injured.
